I don't see the potential with Noel, he's limited offensively, has a slim frame and he missed his entire sophomore year in HS with a fracture in the same knee he had the torn ACL. That Kings trade idea by Simmons is something they absolutely need to explore.

That's why I don't want him in Orlando. I think our fans has selective memory sometimes. We just haven't had good luck with a big man from the 1st Round, they'd rock for a few years then bounce to LA, they'd play overseas like Vasquez, injury prone like Borchardt or a Kentucky big man named Daniel Orton that doesn't do shyt.

This is was David Stern's response to Bill Simmons asking him on the podcast about what can the NBA do to make fans feel its not rigged.

I expect this to be a staple every year. But as was evident in this thread. People will just ignore it because the conspiracies are more fun to talk about.

You still worried about them? If I request your presence, you'll know.

I'm sorry but your window closed. Love clearly doesn't want to be there and didn't seem all that concerned with playing last season. AK gonna opt out most likely and Pekovic is gone.

Hopefully Love goes wild this season and you can trade him but people are back to not caring about the Wolves.

That's odd. I didn't know we had a window.

ok, so wait for them to move to Seattle, fine. In the meantime, question YOUR preoccupation to that situation.

If im the Thunder and Michael Carter Williams slips to them I pick him up and move Russy to the two guard position. But they need to find another scorer eventually to help them too. That's why I can see them scooping up Shabazz too if he's there. They cant keep playing 3 on 5 out there.

Your window of being a surprise playoff 5-8 seed was last year.

Why so defensive?

And please inform me what Minnesota would trade to get the 3rd pick? JJ Barea? Malcolm Lee?

Cousins isn't going anywhere.

Dude played for a team that was unsure whether or not it would be in Sacramento next season his entire NBA career. That uncertainty is over now. He's a headcase, but Boogie>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Noel easily. The Kings know that.

I really want Smart and Thronton to go . Other than Reke and Cousins, anyone else is moving parts. Even Thomas

It's one of those lose lose trades for both teams for me. Cleveland seems to have a good young core of character guys and good chemistry. I wouldn't want to risk Cousins messing that up, plus cousins is about to get paid and will be seeking a max contract... So Noel at a third of the price is preferable...

I really am not blown away by Noel tho, but trading for Cousins isn't the move I'd make.

Since the lottery was implemented the Cavs and Bulls have won it 3 times each.

I smell a rat :beli:

But seriously tho...

  • Bulls got the 1st pick when they got Brand and Rose and Jay Williams didnt they? (Or was Jay a #2 pick? Someone look it up)
  • Cavaliers got it when they picked Lebron, Irving and now this one.

Appears as tho some franchises seem to be "luckier" than others :scheme:

Still better than the NFL system but we may need another overhaul of the system kinda like what they did after Orlando got it twice back to back?

Who said anything about the 3rd pick? I'm talking about the 4th pick for a team that's very much looking to try to deal it. Either way I don't see Charlotte considering Oladipo at 4 (they'd have other options there). A guy they may look at (guys like Len, Plumlee, Bennett, Olynyk), will be there at 9. If they wanna shed a shytty contract like Tyrus Thomas they can do that and still get their guy.
