No Whammies!!

All time classic...even moreso when I finally worked in a similar type of company and felt the pain of Peter and the monotony of office work

I saw the flick when I was in HS, but I didn’t appreciate it until I joined the work force. :pachaha:

When I saw this movie, I didn't appreciate it because my Tech Support job was WORSE than these guys'. I saw them as a bunch of complainers :mjlol:.

I was like "They get to get up and leave their desk for hours at a time, and they're complaining?:dead:"

At the time the movie came out, I had to log on to my phone every time I sat down at my desk, and every morning my supervisor would send out a spreadsheet (to the whole group) with a list of how many hours we were logged in.

If you were logged in less than 88% of your shift hours, you were expected to give him an excuse before the close of the business day :camby:.

So I didn't have too much sympathy for the characters in this at the time.

I haven't watched it since then, maybe I'll give this old DVD another chance.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I had a cubicle job once working at the city council building and I liked it for the first full year that I was there and then another guy in another office fukked up. And then I learned when one office fukks up it causes budget cuts all across the board. Anyway my office got hit and since I was the least experienced I was going to be laid off. They brought up some other employee to make me train her before I left. My last four days before I was officially gone I was on TheColi all of the time with no fukks given. :myman:I even got a bit a revenge later when the a$$holes who laid me off got voted out of office. :banderas: Best feeling ever.
