Also thought AJs defense was good in first half fight especially.

He was dipping under a lot of Wlads jabs, I see a lot about his head movement but he can bend at the waist to avoid shots and overall I thought he showed good reflexes avoiding punches. It was until he knocked Wlad down, where I think he got too comfortable and abandon his defense.

He should throw that Floyd jab to the body in his bag, it would do him well if quick enough.

was just talking to my boy. Wilder was on the Sky cast and he was very technically sound on the mic. He made a lotta sense. He called the fight right and did a better job than AJ's corner tbh. I was saying how AJ needs to move around and he's a sitting duck for the jab.

Wilder bioxing is underrated. I don't see AJ landing those shots on him.

Wilder goes back in straight lines directly to the ropes and puts his hands up, soaks up the punches and then holds before circling out. He can't afford to do that against Joshua even one time.

I think he does have the power to knock femi out stiff cold with a right hand as well tho.

We've seen Joshua badly hurt since his amateur days. So what? He has heart and doesn't quit.
We've never seen him badly hurt with Wilder across the ring from him:hubie:

We've also seen him run out of gas and still finish the fight before.

Again....we've never seen him run out of gas with Wilder across the ring from him:hubie:

Unless wilder knocks Joshua out cold stiff which we've never seen happen to Joshua before that's irrelevant.

Never could having a suspect gas tank or lack of head movement be irrelevant....especially considering he's fighting at HW.

What is deontay wilder made out of? What adversity has he faced and came through? Getting dropped by a fat bin man Dustin nicholls doesn't count :mjlol:

He struggled with Molina ffs.

What adversity?:ld:

We've seen Wilder hurt and rocked before. We've seen Wilder with 1 eye swollen shut before. We've seen Wilder down before. We've seen Wilder with a broken right hand & a torn bicep before. All those fights ended the same way.......Wilder via KO:mjpls:

Meet us next year. Yall want Fury, we will take Joseph Parker then. We meet next year for all the marbles.

That's why they need good trainers to prepare them both. AJ's corner is terrible to say the least. The man is dazed and you're not telling him to take rounds off to recover ? Why u telling him to engage when he's dazed ? AJ also has no head movement which is something @Yuzo pointed out. How u gonna come in a fight with a known jabber and not trained to move your head ? His trainers are atrocious. That may cost him against Wilder because we saw how his corner told him to fight Stiverne. Huge difference when he fights jobbers.

He body jabbed Klitschko sometimes

and I think his reflexes, shot avoiding abilities earned him his win. If he doesn't dip under those Wlad left hook in the 6th and 7th rounds we would probably have Wlad as the winner now. As you already said there were minutes where it seemed like Wlad is a punch away from the KO win and Joshua could avoid his big shots in those critical moments I think that earned him the victory in long term it made it possible for him to rebound.

Fight will break all the venue records in the UK....I have no problem admitting that the fight is bigger there than here, and I already got a passport:obama:

Hopefully, Joshua keeps winning & Wilder does the same. It will be the biggest HW fight since Tyson/Holyfield 1:banderas:

I agree. Joshua is still with his GB amateur squad trainer's. Giving him generic advice like "jab striaght right hand and left hook" :snoop:

There's really not an abundance of good professional trainer's with good lineage in the UK.

He has the best elite training facilities, sport psychologists and athletic help in his own backyard but as far as boxing skills and trainers he needs to bring in someone from the outside.

my mom just called me talking about the fight...she came home from work late night to my dad watching it on HBO..she caught the last round and she said she screamed when Femi landed that uppercut on wlad :russ:..my mother knows the game too but she hates seeing boxers take huge shots to the head and not go down ASAP because she thinks they will only get hurt some more if they dont :manny:
