Anyone given the Electric Guest album a spin? They're a bit similar to Foster the People, I actually like them better tho. They got some radio friendly tracks, so i can see them getting some major airplay.

Yup this was in my top 5 (might be my favorite) this year discussed it a couple posts back. I pretty much fukk with anything Danger Mouse is affiliated with though.

The Norah Jones album is pretty good.....if you liked the Rome album he did with Daniele Luppi it has the same spaghetti western elements to it.

Yeah Danger Mouse hit a dry spell where some of his stuff wasnt hitting......what I am really anticipating is the Daft Punk album (hes co-producing it with them)

Also...."Jenny" should have been on the Mondo album....its criminal that it wasnt.....one of their better tracks IMO

Thanks I'm gonna check out the Norah Jones album. Didn't know Daft Punk was working on new stuff but I'm geeked for that now.

this album is such a step up from their last one, especially the lyrics. they really tightened their songwriting up

Anyone here listen to Liars' new LP? I just got done listening to "No. 1 Against The Rush" and I can't say that I came away super-impressed with the new direction, especially after the last three GREAT records they had (Drum's Not Dead, the self-titled and Sisterworld).

I'm gonna go get some lunch, find a free copy and ruminate before I post more on it.
