Back to dr on Monday to go over my MRI I had done this week. Pt did not help at all. In fact in actually made my shoulder worse. Pain has been more consistent throughout the day and it gets pretty bad at night so I have been sleeping like shyt. The only exercise I've been able to do is run a few times a week but even that starts to bother my shoulder by the 3rd or 4th mile from my arm moving back and forth. To say it has been depressing is an understatement. My physique has visibly taken a hit for sure and I don't even check the gym forum nearly as much because its hard to read about everyone else's workouts knowing I can't do shyt. :to:

Will update next week after I see the dr and see what he has to say.

went back to doc to go over MRI results yesterday. he said he saw what could be a very small minor labrum tear but he was pretty well convinced it was nothing to be very concerned about. he still felt very strongly that the pain was being caused by tendonitis and his suggested course of action was a cortizone shot, a few days of rest, then easing back into exercise. i took the shot. now i'm not usually a bytch in these situations but :to: brehs, that needle tip seemed huge and it felt like he was plunging the liquid forever. the injection site is sore as shyt today. hoping to be able to ease back into something this weekend though. we shall see.

i hope he's right breh. i'd hate to give it another few months on the cortizone then find out i do need to go under and the tear is serious after all. that's really what's killing me, the waiting game and this extra slow process of elimination. i just want to be able to lift again, even if it's not heavy. just some sorta iron work would make me happy. :sadcam:

gonna try and ease back into some weight work today. going to stick w 5/3/1 template but dropped the maxes for calc purposes drastically. the cortisone shot really did wonders for my shoulder (from what i can feel from my every day motions). we'll see how it goes.

not nearly as bad i expected. i lost a LOT of strempf being away from the weights the last 2+ months but it did feel good to be back regardless. my shoulder had some minor pain but nothing like what i had before i went to the doc for the first time. will be interesting to see how it feels tonight/tmrw but going to ice when i get home later and take it from there.

Appreciate it breh. Definitely taking it very easy. First few sets of mp were just bar so really making sure I ease back in.

Honesty to spark the motivation. All the lost mass, strempf and size really sucks but I'm gonna get it back. Been at it hard this week and feeling so much better. Time to get crackin.
