So Cal
Off the strength of this thread, I went back and tried to watch some eps of JLU...
shyt was borderline unwatchable tbh. Straight predictable trash. Subpar animation, plot induced stupidity and depowered heroes, etc.... :francis:
Young Justice, on the other hand, still holds up very well. Yea, I know it's a much newer show, but yea, cats need to let go of that nostalgia.

i don't find the shyt unwatchable. it's just that young justice is better in every single way. The only thing justice League got over it is nostalgia.

Plot-induced depowering? :smh: it was well-established Amazo was more than a match for the JL. Even before that episode, he had beat the shyt out of them twice before, and the whole idea was that after traveling the universe he'd only gotten even stronger

And his whole schtick was trying to find a purpose in life, that's why he left Earth to begin with. The only reason he fought the League on his way back is because they assumed he was trying to kill Luthor for trying to set him up in another episode. Dude wasn't supposed to be malicious, just direct

I guess my point is, it was boring and cheesy.
An entire episode dedicated to Amazo coming home to tell Luthor, "I know what I wanna do with my life!"
Even Young Justice's bad episodes had a point.

Episode set some of the seeds of the cadmus arc, so it really wasn't pointless. Had Amazo not returned, Luthor wouldn't have seen the blueprints to reconstruct droid for himself

Fair enough. I haven't seen the show in years I don't remember much of the arc at all.

JLU was way better than YJ...the episode where shazam was like :stopitslime: i'm gucci to the JL after giving superman that work, was awesome...GOAT dcu fight to me
I forgot about that... and Lex set Superman up to look stupid and destroy the Power Plant so Lex could swoop in and pay for it all then run for President as a heroic philanthropist.

:mjlol: Classic Lex.

Then the Question was gonna assassinate that nikka old skool... strangling him with a necktie.

:ohhh: Those slaps...

Superpowered Lex Luthor is the goat.:whew:

He slammed dude through that table like he was auditioning to be a Dudley Boy.

Am I the only one who likeed the OG Justice League more than unlimited?
Yes you are. When I first got into JL & JLU, I thought I would like JLU less because it had an expanded roster & didn't focus on the original members like JL did.

I ended up being wrong. JLU is just an outright better show & introduced me to a lot of DC characters.

I LOVED Avengers EMH's first season.

LOVED.

second? naaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
:patrice: I don't know... The first half of season 2 is probably the best stretch of any Marvel animated TV series ever. But with the dip in quality & direction of the show in the 2nd half of season 2 (because of new inferior writers/producers took over), I can understand folks likeing season 1 more than 2.
