Bad choice and just because Marshall can lead each album with a goofy song/video doesn’t mean we will receive him with the same energy. D12 got away with it because of Bizarre and Marshall but Obie paid the price with that Got Some Teeth BS
Hey, dumb n1cca, that album went Plat. What price did he pay? :what:

Not to mention Timbo was in his absolute PRIME and every single he produced was on the charts. Had to be an ego thing from Dre not to use it as a single.

if anything I'd attribute it to Eminem/Interscope. they did the same shyt with D12, it's like it was the only formula they knew at the time. Something guaranteed to cash in.

Busta and 50 dropped albums a few years later and I don't think Dre did any of the singles.

Cheers was dope. I played that album a lot when it dropped.

But people gotta remember, this was during the TRL days, and Shady wanted to get him as much play as possible. So "Got Some Teeth" was the kinda dumb sh*t MTV would play in the countdown that would have those viewers going and buying the album. And it worked! I'm just happy the album was nothing like the single.
