:comeon: Ehh..there are valid criticisms of Obamacare but not this one.

Life expectancy was bound to fall because people are eating unhealthier than ever..obesity is at a record high...and the death rate will go up for the next 20 or so years because the baby boomers are now dropping.
Not to mention the opioid epidemic :snoop:

History tells me government limiting food intake is one of the worst things that can happen to the populace, but you seem to be advocating it.
That said that you are down to insults after 2 replies tells me all I need to know about your mental capacity.

My initial comment was just a way of mentioning obesity is the major driver of health problems in a way that highlights that it's a self-control issue, the only reason I went with your literal argument is because you went full retard with it.

And history tells me government limiting food intake has been because of mass food shortages not because almost 40% of the population was obese and eating 3000 calorie fast food meals on the daily.

I know what you were trying to do and your solution was ridiculous.
I'd also add the growth rate obesity has declined when the rate was higher health metrics were still improving so that line of reasoning fails upon closer inspection.

History tells me if government oversight of food was productive, the rationing would have proved effective, but the rationing wasn't effective, it has consistantly in situations of shortages made things worse, so again, if you want to argue that government rationing is the answer to anything, you are betting on a consistantly losing horse.

What was I trying to do? What exactly was my solution?

Obesity has steadily increasing in adults and in older populations more susceptible to the catastrophic consequences of obesity.

you were trying to takethe onus offthe terrible obamacare program. Your tried to posit itsthe people,s fault the rate wentup whe. All signs point to obamacare itself. As for obesity I specifically refered to the rate of growth declining but there being no general downtrend healthwise when it had a higher rate of growth

You're sure making a lot of inferences about my thoughts. I didn't even mention Obamacare, I made a commentary on how to improve life expectancy. Do you not think reducing obesity and drug abuse would have a beneficial impact on the life expectancy rate?

if my inference is erong I stand corrected and admit I was wrong. AAs for improving life expectancy I would think greater aacess to care and lower cost of service would provide a greater impact because it would provide a greater effect overall by casting thr widest net
