Obama grows to be successful and marries a black woman: "Awww...black love. It's the right thing b/c she knows his struggle."
No discussion of turning your back against the kind that raised you and all that.
If Drake were to date/marry a Jewish chick, want to bet there'd be the "successful black men choosing white women" bickering on social media even though that's exactly what his mother is? The whole discussion's asinine.
There only seems to be arguments where it's convenient. Attraction and love only seem to be justified when it benefits whoever's arguing, it seems. There doesn't always need to be an agenda for someone to date/marry outside of their race.
Obamas mother left him for his grandparents to raise at a young age. This is typical of many single white mothers, who view their black children as an albatross when it comes to moving forward in life. See: colin kapernick
