I know damn well it didn't start with the presidency, but every single one of you bashers have made it seem like he chose her because he knew he would be president . I don't think Harold Ford Jr. has ever dated a black woman and he is an elected official. If he and family wasn't so crocked he could probably go even further.

Also, out of all the black women he could have dated he chose Michelle (I mean come on). Don't get me wrong, I think she is very attractive and she is probably very sweet, but to be completely honest, he could have chosen any other black woman in the world with the same pedigree and drop dead gorgeous, but he CHASED and CHOSE Michelle. His white girlfriend was writing thoughts in her diary more than 20 years ago that clearly states that she feels like he wanted a black woman (he talked to that white woman about all his feelings about race and racial identity). A white woman could see it, but you seriously can't think of any other reason besides politics that he would want her.
