this shyt is disgraceful. instead of black lawyers, entrepreneurs, scholars and community leaders this dude bring rappers to push an initative to help young men of color:why:.
Thing is, influence matters. We are, where we are, as a community.

When Obama leave the White house. :mjcry: Been a magical 8 years. I know there are things we can criticise him on but this has been one of the biggest net positives for the community. :salute:

I'm all for positive symbolism but lets keep it all the way funky black America has actually fared worse in all socio-economic indicators since the beginning of Obama's tenure.

Am I saying that Obama is solely responsible for this? Of course not. But keep in mind it was us who got him a seat at the white house and outside a few insignificant policy reforms we haven't got much of anything for what we invested in.

Again, we gotta look past the glamour and be real with ourselves :manny:

Bruh, Obama's 8 years weren't going to fix 400 of systematic railroading and fukkery.

The symbolism enough has inspired a generation and we may not get that payoff for another 15-20.

I'm satisfied with as much as we've gotten.
