Obama Approval Rating Reaches 3-Year High In Bloomberg Poll

You surmised this from a poll that shows that 49% of American are unhappy with the handling of the economy. His approval rating being up doesn't = it's all rainbows and we've accepted the status quo. The polling actually shows the exact opposite. I'm also unaware of what golden years you're talking about. People of color have been in a recession for about 3 decades.

I'll loosely define the golden years as the 90-2001...not perfect but much better.


My statement though, was more an indictment of the overall trend of America. Can you honestly say it's getting better or worse? Call me a cynic but the overall direction of the country has me worried. THAT is more or less what i'm talking about. This poll means dikk in the long term scheme of this country.

And let's look at congress for the status quo as it's a much better barometer of what we've accepted. Those fukers have a low teens approval rating and they continue to get voted in. Overall, as I see it, people just don't give a fuk so long as they aren't unemployed, so realistically we have roughly 10% of the country upset at any given time, what's sad though, is when you start talking to people about some of the shyt that goes on, they don't like it...and yet here we are.
