Weak ass god. Creates the universe, is omnipotent yet can't even say no. Is he a white parent? Sounds more like a man made movement of savages precariously held together by politics of compromize. But it was worth it because slavery and war was eradicated from Muslim lands...

:mjlol:

Some more modern books have indexes and real structure so whatever information can be accessed coherently and rapidly. No need to memorize whole books or consult separate notes to understand the first book you were reading.

:russ:

The whole process of divine revelation is silly. Islam included. God appears to a single guy, transmit his long message orally only and has to be memorized, decades later this is compiled in a messy book written in a single language spoken at the time. God retreats and is never heard from again. People keep bickering, languages evolve and no one agrees on what was meant originally. Truly the plan of a being with infinite wisdom and power.

:lolbron:

Islam unites... Until it divides and messes things up. The solution then is more Islam?

Is that really religion uniting or alike minds?

It would be both really. Religion would be the foundation and structure keeping them on the same path.Their goals and ideas, backed by faith which holds them accountable, can facilitate change. It enables and solidifies trust among people.

It's like if you do something wrong, who is to tell you it was good or bad? We have context, intent, facts, research etc. but people won't be able to agree because moral ambiguity.

Religion is strict, but not in the sense of limiting your freedom. It allows you to move through the world knowing not only yourself, but what is expected of you as a decent human being.

Read the religious books or don't
Believe in God or don't

They are all valid choices.

He will always be there when you truly need Him.

The thread title alone is bait. It is not Islam promoting this crazy shyt, it is the Arabs and their culture. Their culture is based on ignorance and arrogance of "knowing" the Quran, when they themselves haven't read the damn thing in centuries. The Arabic in the book is different than what they speak. They lost the ability to read the words because folks got on a power trip (sounds like other religions yea?) and used it for their own selfish gain. One of the reasons why there are Sunni and Shiite Muslims.

Why do people want to live in this bubble where its "fukk everything" because of people who misrepresent religion?!

ALL THE NEGATIVE shyt IS CULTURE BRED FROM OUTSIDE OF THE FAITH.

If the general public can't separate culture and religion, I dunno what to tell you. True religion brings people together despite backgrounds and race. That is dangerous to people in power.

:snoop:

The hell do people believe in anymore?:why:

White folk don't need to do shyt anymore besides small bits of damage control in different parts of the world.

The programming is deep within all of us :lupe:
