Alot of nba writers have re-tweeted and co-signed Beck's story. If the Knicks weren't offering him to every nba team for "free" they wouldn't be doing it. Knicks fans don't wanna believe the truth and blame the messenger. What about this article isn't factual?

The Knicks have been inept with Anthony and Stoudemire in the lineup, going 30-36 over parts of two seasons and 1-7 in the playoffs. Advanced metrics show the Knicks are demonstrably worse — both offensively and defensively — when the two share the court.

The above quote isnt factual, as it veers from dishonestly to boldfaced lying. When Beck references the 30-36 record, he conveniently forgets to mention that a bulk of that record was complied when D'Antoni was coach, and when Melo was playing through multiple injuries during the beginning of the 11-12 abbreviated season. This is even more damming when considering that the Melo/Amare/Tyson triumvirate is like 8-1 with our current coach, which of course he also fails to include.

But then Beck follows that with a boldface lie about the 1-7 playoff record. He knows damn well Amare was hurt for both series and may have played in 2-3 games, total (and not at 100% at that). Shameless dishonesty, which puts his whole piece, and perhaps career, in to question. This is disturbing to me.

:comeon: Billups had an expiring contract which they could have traded

they coulda just amnestied Amare if they wanted Chandler so bad

A year ago exactly, a lot of Knicks fans were saying this:usure:
Chauncey Billups contract already EXPIRED but the Knickers decided to pick up the last year of his TEAM OPTION, which shortly after they AMNESTIED.

if they were operating with any kind of foresight they would have declined the option from the beginning and save themselves the embarrassment/money, but Chandler was an impulse buy.

Yea this article is very disturbing . But we know New York media hates cable vision and the Knicks .

@Ritzy Sharon you are a clear hater. Does no one realize that they picked up billups option right after the season  then the lockout happened then we got chandler . We couldn't premptively know the amnesty clause was going to exist . We had to resign billups or we had no pg Chauncey played good when healthy. @KologeroBx they act like we signed billups then next day amnestied him and @tremonthustler1 even you acting like that . This is the 5th time I've said this and it keeps coming up

They can hate all they fckin want, but when they abandon their journalistic responsibilities, which is like an oath, and start posting straight lies, then they have officially jumped into a portal to the dark side. He wrote that piece knowingly writing falsehoods, because I know he remembers the last two knick series, where Amare was famously injured in both. Im shocked at this.

The Chi (South Side)
time flies... I had no idea he was already 30 :wow:

no suprise. he came into the league the same year as YAO.

that being said, how can the knicks be suprised that no one will trade for a cat with shyt knees, $65M owed, and an uninsured contract in this day and age of punative luxury tax penalties????? :aicmon:

knicks got him cuz in summer of 2010, they were sooooo thirsty to get in the free agency bonanza they were happy to overpay this cat despite his bad knees. oh well, his contract actually makes boozer look like a bargain by comparision.

@FisolaNYDN
One thing you should know about Amar'e that maybe you didn't read is that he & Carmelo have a winning record since Mike Woodson became coach

All That Matter Is This, And What Happens After This

Mike D'Antoni, Toney Douglas, Landry Fields, Jared Jeffries Jeremy Lin, Mike Bibby, Baron Davis And Bill Walker Arent Here Any More, Im Tired Of Hearing What That Team Did And Didnt Do

Lol your right but the same media said we could trade amare and chandler for Howard :comeon: when we had TO wait December to be able to trade Tyson. The same media that let Jeremy lins friend from Stanford write a biased sports illustrated article to spin the Knicks not signing him.:beli: we get no love breh and they don't play fair with us

Boozer Is Actually Worthy Of The Amnesty Talk, Amar'e Is Not, Boozer At 100% Health Is Still Trash

Is chandler not better than billups ??? We couldn't have everything and that's dantonis fault for letting td be the point . Your acting like the Knicks were trash or something last year , we still made the playoffs . And grunwald gave dantoni Lin he just chose not to use him! Notice how we automatically took off under Woodson
