I can see them turning it into a midnight festival type of event at some sort of park grounds instead of freely walking down the street.

This midnight fukkery not gonna fly in new Brooklyn.

I'm not underestimating because I used to fukk with it (and the parade) heavy, but lets be real about how the demographic along Eastern Parkway and around it has changed. You know who is really running the show out there and they only "tolerate" the parade because it's 1 day.

i don't feel like the parade is in danger because if they mess with that then it would be an issue and alot of politicians love to use the parade as a way to show out and campaign for free.

The demographic is still mostly west Indian and they vote in the local politicians. I never thought the parade was in danger.

Everybody I knew who was going went to take a nap around 5 or 6 so they could head out around 11. They were trying to stay out there until the end of the parade today
