Unless Judge is going to take a 5 year contract then let him walk.

He's 30 years old and a mediocre playoff performer. Not deserving of the most expensive contract in MLB history.

Those 62 HRs don't mean sh!t in the long-term. Let him go and play for the SF Giants, Mets or whoever will pay him the most.
I just don't have the desire to pay someone $360 mil to be Don Mattingly.

The entire team is Medicare don’t just single him out…. He’s still the best player on the team and should be paid as such

I know that the entire team is mediocre (not "Medicare" lol).

However, Judge is supposed to be the leader of this team and he ALWAYS disappears in the playoffs. He can do that Houdini sh!t on a different team.

He can go home to San Francisco, go to Queens or whoever else that will pay him. The Yankees shouldn't let a playoff choke artist take up so much of the team's payroll when they can use that money to sign players who can make a difference when it counts.

my too early moves to make:

Trevino: can stay. Higashioka on the other hand can leave and he can take Ben Rortvedt with him.

Rizzo: can stay, but next year has to be his last year here. Back issues already starting to break him down.

Carpenter: it was a helluva ride. Sucks that it ended this way.

Torres: can get traded immediately. We have to stop grading him on a curve. There's no point in waiting for him to be what we thought he'd be. Trade him to Detroit for Turnbull or a reliever (not Soto unless Blake can fix him).

LeMahieu: can stay, but can't be a starter unless Donaldson is gone.

Kiner-Falefa: can go. He was a stopgap utility player who the team thought was better than what he was.

Donaldson: fukk trading Donaldson. Release him. Let him walk. It's a sunk cost. Same way Ellsbury was. Same way A-Rod was at the end. Let him walk.

Benintendi: honestly if the money is right, why not? But it's a secondary move after Judge.

Bader: a fukking keeper.

Stanton: he'll be here so whatever. We just have to account for losing him for 2 months.

Judge: the big decision: I mean really, it comes down to how much you wanna give him.

I'll leave it at this: I'm good either way: if he stays even on a horrible deal, I'll deal with it. If he leaves to sign a horrible deal elsewhere, I'll deal with that too.

Pitchers in a minute.
Alot of dead money on the books

It's going to be the 2013 season all over again.

The Yankees traded all of thier upper level pitching depth.

They barely trust thier fielding prospects as is.

I dont see this team winning more than 85 games until 2024/2025

They'll fall back next season but they'll be back eventually with another soft rebuild.

i don't worry too much about the pitching outside of closer /spot starter. They just have to do what I've been begging them to do: let them pitch through their growing pains. Matt Blake is a damn good pitching coach, so good that soon enough teams will be looking for him to be a manager. They gotta take advantage of this while they have time.

Can’t make his own thread they don’t have enough fans that give a fukk

50 posts of shytty trolling just to settle for one asterisk ridden title and an AL banner.

Truly a poverty fan base.

Typo but after this series they might need Medicare too

Judge won’t ever hit 60 again.
He won’t hit 50.
But he will be a 40 HR guy for the next few years provided he’s healthy.

Nobody else on the Yankees is going to OPS .800 outside of Rizzo or maybe Peraza.

So fine. Dump Judge if you want. But you’ve been warned. You’re not going to see a good offense for a while.

And just so y’all know, the hype around Jasson Dominguez has come down considerably. People thought they had another Mike Trout. The Yankees will be lucky if he can become Curtis Granderson. He’s a good prospect but he’s hardly a savior.

Next year may be just as good if bums like Donaldson and IKF are out of the roster but that's neither here nor there.

that kid is legit. if the hype has died down, good. Usually those are the Yankees who wind up contributing anyway. The fact that they already tried to trade him is just bothersome. Either trust the guys you're developing, draft better or find someone else who can do that aspect of the job. the half-assed approach to the minors when those players put in work in the minors makes it pointless for these players to even be here.

Look at the Astros. We're still waiting on Whitley, but all the other guys (other than Tucker) weren't as hyped and proceeded to kick our ass.
