Finally over.

Look, we could want shyt to change and we'll all make suggestions and recommendations, but in the end, this team knows there's a step further they have to take and they don't want to take it. Until they do, it's not gonna matter.

The top question we have to ask ourselves is this: if it takes losing Judge to get the team to fire Cashman /Boone, is it worth it?

Y'all know my answer to that.

Ohtani wouldn’t have done shyt to tilt the scales.

You guys are delusional.

The Yankees have 5-6 players in their lineup who have almost zero offensive value if they don’t homer.

1 superstar isn’t covering for that.

I’m not even trying to be some entitled fan but when they give all this unnecessary talk about every season’s mission statement being winning #28, I have higher standards for their performance. Unfortunately it’s clear they’re not serious about it and you do grow a little tired of their incompetence.

I’m sure we’ll get the same old talk from Cashman tomorrow about how the playoffs are a crapshoot and two other hundred win teams are also sitting at home, blah blah blah.

my too early moves to make:

Trevino: can stay. Higashioka on the other hand can leave and he can take Ben Rortvedt with him.

Rizzo: can stay, but next year has to be his last year here. Back issues already starting to break him down.

Carpenter: it was a helluva ride. Sucks that it ended this way.

Torres: can get traded immediately. We have to stop grading him on a curve. There's no point in waiting for him to be what we thought he'd be. Trade him to Detroit for Turnbull or a reliever (not Soto unless Blake can fix him).

LeMahieu: can stay, but can't be a starter unless Donaldson is gone.

Kiner-Falefa: can go. He was a stopgap utility player who the team thought was better than what he was.

Donaldson: fukk trading Donaldson. Release him. Let him walk. It's a sunk cost. Same way Ellsbury was. Same way A-Rod was at the end. Let him walk.

Benintendi: honestly if the money is right, why not? But it's a secondary move after Judge.

Bader: a fukking keeper.

Stanton: he'll be here so whatever. We just have to account for losing him for 2 months.

Judge: the big decision: I mean really, it comes down to how much you wanna give him.

I'll leave it at this: I'm good either way: if he stays even on a horrible deal, I'll deal with it. If he leaves to sign a horrible deal elsewhere, I'll deal with that too.

Pitchers in a minute.

He had like 6 games pitching against the astros, all of them had only 1 er or less per game so yeah he would have won at least 1 game.

Cashman will have to take the hit either way for mismanaging the Judge contract. Judge is getting paid no matter what so you can let him walk but whoever they sign this off-season better not be someone we have to "wait and see" blossom into a winner.

Boone has to go but the roster is on the GM and Cashman having this lifetime job like a fukkin Supreme Court justice just aint cutting it anymore.

You can spend money but there needs to be a return on that investment, like the Phillies and Padres are actually seeing. The AL is a different beast and you gotta fukking have the right pieces on the field and a manager who isn't coach via an Apple Watch. Boone is a failure and these great regular season numbers aren't a reflection of his brilliance. Fake ass Roger Maris made him look good this year and then shyt the bed all postseason — so he can go too

Fire Brian Trashman & Aaron Baboone.

The Yankees are an embarrassment of organization. Yankee fans should boycott everything Yankee related until those 2 are fired.

Sign contact hitters and reliable pitchers in the offseason.

Cole: his playoffs almost made up for his inconsistent year. He gets a pass

Cortes: our ace. He gets a pass.

Severino: he showed a lot this year. Even when he got hurt, they were just being careful with him. Pick up his option.

Taillon: honestly. showed a lot this season: He gave us a chance in the playoffs and did #4/#5 level stuff. If someone wants to overpay him, let him go, but I'm fine with him at the back end of the rotation.

Montas: never trade with Oakland again. If they can flip him this winter, fukk it. I don't see him getting moved, so he better hit the ground running next season.

German: I don't see him coming back, but he saved the Yankees' asses in the 2nd half of the season. Somehow he didn't even pitch in the playoffs.

King will be back. WandyVision was awesome. Loaisiga got his shyt together. Holmes as the 8th inning guy, count me in. 9th inning, let's do better.

Schmidt should start next year and don't remove him from the rotation unless his ERA is 7.

Unless Judge is going to take a 5 year contract then let him walk.

He's 30 years old and a mediocre playoff performer. Not deserving of the most expensive contract in MLB history.

Those 62 HRs don't mean sh!t in the long-term. Let him go and play for the SF Giants, Mets or whoever will pay him the most.

My offseason plan (i've had time to think about this)

trade Gleyber to Detroit for Turnbull or Mize and a A ball pitching prospect

Cabrera moves to 2B.

IKF gets non-tendered. Peraza plays SS until Volpe gets the call.

Donaldson gets released. eat the $25 mil. LeMahieu plays 3B until Volpe gets the call and then Cabrera moves to 3B.

Benintendi stays at 3 years $45 mil.

Hicks gets moved to the Angels (and eat 70% of the salary) for Randy DeJesus and Walbert Urena (their super young guys)

I'll assume Judge gets a bloated 9 year deal with a player opt out somewhere after year 3.

LF Benintendi
SS Peraza
RF Judge
1B Rizzo
DH Stanton
3B LeMahieu
CF Bader
2B Cabera
C Trevino

the backups HAVE to be all about contact: Yankees gotta revamp that entire department until Volpe gets the call.
'

pitchers

Cole
Cortes
Severino
Montas (if they trade him, go aggressively after Rodon)
Taillon (if he gets overpaid, Schmidt takes this spot)

pen:

King
Peralta
Loaisiga
Marinaccio
Holmes
Weissert
Gil (takes Schmidt's current role)

Yankees should go after Suarez from the Padres to close.

as for manager, give me Beltran. Keep Blake as pitching coach. Hitting coach is whatever.
