The mutha****in BX
cuz he wasn't able to.

When all their players get banged up near the end, they don't have a choice but to rely on them to contribute.

DJ, Carpenter, Benintendi, and to a lesser extent Bader and Peraza

the most they coulda did was play Marwin more,

and considering Donaldson been playing all this time and looks as sorry as anyone, this is a teamwide problem again.
They said he was cleared to play. But they sent him to Somerset instead of 3 or 4 meaningless games worth of AB’s against ML Pitching.

Expecting him to just pick up where he left off against Verlander is asking for way too much

Positive notes: thier (Yankees) best relief pitchers weren't used save for Trevino who on the right day has knockout stuff.
Also the Yankees were able to see thier best 3 relief pitchers tonight rendering Montero possibly unavailable for tomorrow.

Negatives.... everything else. They could've won this game.
You should probably take another look at our pen my breh, you guys haven’t even seen our best (statistically) reliever in Stanek yet. If all Framber gives us tomorrow is 5 you’re still in trouble since we have 5 other relievers you haven’t gotten a look at that are pretty damn good.

All game long. Every inning it felt like he called a strike two call that was off the plate.

It was disgusting to watch.

Everything with the stros is fishy to me. The only saving grace is Dusty.

Can't trust them cheaters

Unless Stanek has added something in his pitches he's pretty much been the same dude since his days with the Rays. 1.15 era with a 3.02 FIP.

Yeah the truth is somewhere in the middle.

He’s changed his pitch sequence thanks to Maldonado. He’s been pretty much lights out this year and his 1 appearance so far in the post season. We might also throw Hunter Brown into a relief only role since we have to try to find a place to put in Urquidy & Garcia. If we win tomorrow you’ll see a 2nd helping of two Cy Young vote getters both at home again in a very difficult place to play.

From Brooklyn living in Houston
Carpenter looked awful……gamble with Schmidt there after getting out of that big inning.

Boone looks like he didn’t want to run Loaisaga Holmes Peralta in this moments.

Not having Lamaheiu hurts

The Yankees haven't seen Brown this season as of yet.

Verlander and McCullers are currently the only starters to pitch in NY during the postseason whereas you know it's a completely different animal.
