You pretty much exposed yourself thinking LA dudes are hustlers because they supplied drugs.

Let’s make a list of how many black dudes in LA got rich vs NY.

As a matter of fact I’ll put LA vs one entire neighborhood called Harlem

You can’t talk about hustling when the culture around your city wasn’t built on hustling
Bro I fucc wit you but you clearly a square that grew up living a square lifestyle. Have you ever even hustled before?

You getting your idea of nyc hustlers from movies like paid n full

You dumb if you think la wasn't full of young nikkas making millions

The difference is LA nikkas ain't buying 20 bmws and throwing money off roofs like nyc nikkas were doing

nikka in LA would have on a tank top and some deebo slippers but making millions and you would never know :pachaha:

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
You're wrong breh
Even right now while I type this Roddy ricchh is bigger than any nyc rapper

And nipsey just had the biggest funeral in hip hop history...

As far as the Crack era comment. You literally have no idea what you're talcn about. You think nyc nikkas had more money just cuz they were flashier. The fact that you think Rick Ross was the only hustler in LA proves that

And the movies aren't equal lmao. You talking about imdb ratings I'm talking about how much money they actually made no comparison :mjlol:

Who said anything about flashy?

:ohhh:

It’s well known that NYC has the most rich dudes from the crack epidemic.

shyt y’all weren’t even shytting on the Dominicans or Jamaicans up here either.

Also you brought up Washington DC? A city known for housing NYC drug dealers in every corner.

:mjlol:

How many of these rich hustling LA dudes were on Washington DC streets hustling?

roddy rich Nipsey Hussle? Ok Cardi B and A boogie?

If by well known you mean nyc glorifying their cracc era hustlers the most then yes. But if you're talking about getting money then no California nikkas were getting more money from cracc than new York nikkas. It is what it is breh. Anyone outside of nyc will tell you that

More a competitive rivalry than outright inferiority complex.

I will say, if you grew up in L.A. or the Bay, you could give a damn about a NYC as far as the typical reverence its given as the epicenter of everything like people in flyover states do. Plenty of Cali natives who would be content never leaving the borders of the state... for good reason. That definitely reflects in the music.

There's a distinct sound West Coast artists go for... and they don't care how the East Coast perceives it. It also helps that the Cali rap game has been more unified than NYC.

No one cares about NYC unless you live in a flyover state

NPR Choice page

U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth expressed doubt last week about cutting two years off the 28 1/2 -year prison term of Melvin D. Butler, the Los Angeles-based broker for D.C. cocaine king Rayful Edmond III, whose trafficking network employed more than 150 people and imported as much as 1,700 pounds of Colombian cocaine a month into the city in the 1980s.

have you not seen NY murder rates in the 80s and 90s
Yes, and from the shyt rose hip-hop that’s what he’s saying.

From the most dilapidated ghetto in American history (1970’s South Bronx) rose a completely positive cultural expression in hip-hop...
