I hate to bring this up and possibly derail the thread, but I have talked about it before.

Kids today find hoping on facebook, xbox live, and other things through their devices to get entertainment..."fun"

The last time I went to the movies I saw 2 teens and both the girl and guy were on their cellphones non-stop I guess texting or whatever else. I was a teen and I would be on my :scheme: to get as close to the girl as possible to take her home.

NOBODY is ever outside on my whole block in Washington Heights...that shyt is depressing to see.

I Remember The Last Real Snow Storm Me And My Cousin Went Outside And Wondered Why We Did Not See ANY Damn Kids Playing Tackle Football In The Streets, That shyt Was Sad

They Dont Even Open The Pump Up Anymore In The Summer

:salute:

We also used to make slingshots out of balloons and quarter water tops, find rocks and shoot them at cars :ahh:
My friend got chased down 2 blocks before losing a guy who caught him doing that shyt. He only escaped because he knew his way through the building back paths. I am sure he was going to get his ass beat something serious.

We used to control those blocks...too many problems to even begin talking about it. It allowed us to grow.

They are disconnected, that is my biggest problem with it all.

We used to roll DEEP on mischief night and halloween, bunch of 10-16 year olds with no costumes other than ski masks and those scream masks. While people were egging, we were throwing those mini-pumpkins at cars, and batteries at buses.

thinking about these things just reminds me of what a terrible kid I was. I had no respect for people's property, and would steal, break windows, etc, "just because" :guilty:

Little kids just want to see the world burn, one of my nephews isn't even two, if you drop something on the floor around him he'll automatically just try to step on it.

We used to let air out of peoples tires, piss on door handles, call in threats from payphones, just random shyt for no apparent reason other than to be dikks.

:russ: I can relate to all that shyt

oh god, the payphone games. we had this thing that only worked back in the day: we would call random numbers (usually from the phone book) collect. first you would talk to the operator and tell them "collect call from Billy (or whatever fake name)". then they would call the person, and with you still on the line, ask them if they accept the charges. before the person could answer, you would say "yes" in a different voice (sometimes we faked the first voice too, or had another person get on the line, to make sure they sounded different). usually right away the operator would say "thank you" and get off the line. the people we called were usually very confused and/or pissed, like "what.. who.. I didn't accept the charges!". then my friends and I would just die laughing :russ: (sometimes we tried to keep up some kind of ruse, but the call usually ended then). shortly after that, you weren't still on the line when they asked the person if they accept the charges :guilty:
