only the NYC version if you caught the ball, the player who threw the ball got jumped by all the players rather than have the ball beamed at him :pachaha:

That Game Was So Dangerous :wow:

I Remember In My School Yard At Lunch Was Busy As fukk And Sometimes Girls/Innocent Kids Playing Tag Would Run Thru The Game And Get Beamed In The Face, shyt Was Crazy

Once You Hear The Hallow "BONG" Sound Of The Ball Echo Thru The Yard After Smacking Someone In the Face You Knew The Ball Was About To Be Confiscated, Game Over.

The Worst Was "Booties Up"

When You Drop The Ball 3 Times And You Gotta Face The Wall As Everyone Lines Up And Takes Turns Throwing The Ball At Your Back Area Hard As They Can :damn:

If You Were Playing With 20 Dudes You Were In For Some shyt

Somtimes Dudes Would Come Outta No Where That Werent Even Playing And Join The Line

The game was one of the most popular street games in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx from the 1950s through the early 1980s, but is rarely seen on the streets today.

I hate to bring this up and possibly derail the thread, but I have talked about it before.

Kids today find hoping on facebook, xbox live, and other things through their devices to get entertainment..."fun"

The last time I went to the movies I saw 2 teens and both the girl and guy were on their cellphones non-stop I guess texting or whatever else. I was a teen and I would be on my :scheme: to get as close to the girl as possible to take her home. They are disconnected, that is my biggest problem with it all.

NOBODY is ever outside on my whole block in Washington Heights...that shyt is depressing to see.
