Wikipedia is NOT a source for anything in real life. You know that right?

The HARLEM RIVER is what separates the Bronx from Manhattan.

Cacs interested in getting higher rents and "gentrifying" the neighborhood probably typed that shyt.

Cacs are gonna cac, but according to the NYC Government, the USGS and the USPS (zip code 10463) it's OFFICIALLY the Bronx.

Here's the map originally posted

But it was connected to Manhattan until the manmade canal was put there.

Denouncing Manhattan as a bastion for hipsters and billionaires, a group of intrepid Bronx residents planted the county flag Saturday in Marble Hill — which is technically a part of Manhattan — and called for the annexation of the community on the 75th anniversary of a similar stunt by the Bronx’s former borough president.

yes, geographically it is part of the bronx. but politically it is still part of manhattan because it was originally until they built a canal thru it and covered up the river around it.

no, you can do preference by borough but you cant choose development. besides the nice one would be waitlisted like crazy. manhattan will be the toughest boro to get placement in obviously, staten island you could probably get a place by tomorrow :mjlol:
:mjlol:

It's The Bronx. It's always pretty wild up there. Just stay clear of South Bronx and you'll be ok. The BX is actually pretty nice when you get further north.

South Bronx and Brownsville are like two of the last two strongholds of goondom in NYC.

shyt is very real out there.
Check my siggy on Brownsville! The goons is SKRONG in Brownsville!

move to marble hill, file a civil lawsuit, and let me know what happens

hint: you aint getting a bronx jury
You do know that federal court districts are not limited/restricted along geographic lines of a BOROUGH. There are far too few federal courts for that to even be possible...

Welcome to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. This Federal Court has jurisdiction over and summons jurors from the counties of New York, Bronx, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, and Sullivan. The Court for the Southern District of New York hears cases in Manhattan, White Plains, and Middletown, New York.

So how does this relate to Marble Hill being in the Bronx? We defining boroughs by federal court districts now?

And does this mean that White Plains is in Manhattan too?

That must have been interesting. Is urine in the elevators and stairwells still a problem?

sure, but better than faulty elevators. it always sucked seeing the maintenance folks get the blame for that like they're they ones pissing in there :stopitslime:

Marble Hill per NYC gov

Because Marble Hill is legally part of Manhattan, residents who serve on jury duty go to the courthouses at Foley Square in lower Manhattan. Marble Hill is represented by the offices of City Council District 10 Manhattan as well as elected officials in both Manhattan and The Bronx. Bronx Community Board 8 oversees the day-to-day operations of Marble Hill.
