None. We are too poor to afford the rent but too rich to have the rent subsidized.
Some people get a lucky roll of the dice and suddenly they're gods walking among men.
The requirements for applications to even get looked at for this apartment was you have to make close to 40K. They're "poor" though. It's rational that a person making a honest living above poverty has to go to different door to appease young Becky whose mom sent her to NYC to go to Columbia for journalism.
If you want to separate rich and poor then give the poor the weakest floor plans with the least amount of amenities. Make them pay a extra monthly fee if they want to use the gym, clubhouse, storage, etc. Which I'm sure they did already if they are concerned about a rich and a poor person being on the same elevator.

Pretty much. No room for the middle class in this new world order. You either get tax breaks or handouts. It's like my professor once said, 'if you walk in the middle of the road you eventually get run over'.
About that time to bounce my friend. It's only getting worse honestly.
Unless you're working some big banking/finance job...it's pretty difficult to start a family in this area and it's surrounding parts. Then add on your commute...it's hell.

Whew... being poor in America is flat out inconvenient. You can't go to the hood store w o a crakhead begging or going into a real hood apt building and not knowing ths smells. I was in one the other day.. clearly this bitxh in the elevator didn't bathe this year yet.
The architect could have built a rich apt, but at least those poor have a place to go. Maybe a successful nikka will see one of these hoodrats kids and give him some inspiration. Dopeman, was my inspiration when I was like 9 years old... so. Ijs.

"Pitchforks" - they ain't gonna do shyt. The people in NYC that would even bother, would rather sit and blog. They have no guns, and they're not willing to kill. The guys that are willing to kill are mostly in the South, and Mid-West who hate the government, and would never side with the coastal protestors on principle alone. The police are militarized; they don't even have to bring in the National Guard

This is a little misleading, IMO. Think of it like a club...if you pay for VIP you get special accommodation with all the trimmings. You get what you pay for.

While the wealth gap is definitely increasing at alarming levels, I think some of you need to relax. If you're less fortunate would you rather live in the hood or in this upscale building? No brainer for me. You think I'm gonna give a fukk when rich people look down on me while I'm living in the same place they are?
