This is the series I was most surprised about. Knicks came thru like it's the 90's again. Action Brunson been a winner but damn he's that good and can't believe Josh Hart been bounced around attached to so many salary dump deals. Thought he was good his first year when he was on Lakers. Hopefully he's there to stay for a while

Brunson was lil bro'ing Garland and Mitchell with the middy fadeaways so they desperately wanted someone with height on him. Unfortunately for them, Osman lacked the lateral quickness.

That last lefty layup by Brunson was bad defense tho, NYK got the offense rebound yet again (also bad) and Osman didn't realize there was no help on his left side on the reset, he should've angled Brunson towards the middle. Brunson noticed that error and it was bbq chicken.

Cavs have no answer for Brunson but the bigger issue is Cavs bigs got punked and Cavs bench got punked. Can't be leaking from so many areas.

The bolded never changed.

And Mitchell lucky nobody cares about him and all the headlines will be on Giannis.

Cleveland born & raised
Allen is going nowhere. The Cavs don't have a bench and they need a small forward. Whoever on the Coli said that getting Mitchell accelerated the Cavs timeline was exactly on point. I'm not sure the Cavs can wait too long for Mobley to fully grow into his body and get a consistent offensive game with the team as it's currently constructed. A consistent and solid small forward would help with that, but there's not a ton of those out there.
I seen a video stating that the scheme Bickerstaff was using was the cause for Allen not boxing out. Should have adjusted but telling Allen to stop roaming around the paint. Team young as hell though

Mitchell has basically peaked. Idk where the Cavs go from here aside from pray the young core around him gets better.
They need Mobley to take the leap on offense as they aren't going to get to where they want to go long term with Mitchell as their best player. Solve the bench problem as well and get some stability at the 3.

I've been a critic of Mitchell for years now, but I'm not even going to slander him for this one as it's been obvious what he is for years now. They need to place an major emphasis on Mobley's development in the offseason and start creating plays for him even it's at the expense of Mitchell's touches.
