The following year he proceeds to trade up for a guard, Outside of AVT (and if he gets hurt again, God help him), he's whiffed on his O-Line picks and signings. Rule of thumb: If you're really good at some aspect of team building, you shouldn't need a first rounder at every position to prove that point, because any fool can do that. Meanwhile, KC can pull Trey Smith out of their ass. The most recent SB winning teams didn't overly invest in O-Line, but knew who to sign and who to develop
