If aew booked better and got more talent(not 150 pound marks) they could do over a million a week easily

:ehh:

It also meant absolutely nothing within WWE because all the brand supremacy shyt gets dropped immediately after Survivor Series every year.

They did that shyt with purpose people would tune in to nxt against aew and They didnt hold the audience at all.

NXT needs more young faces on their show. I understand they brought back Balor and they’re going to bring Sami, Nakamura, Roode, Joe in too eventually but I want to supplement those guys with actual young people. Gargano, Ciampa, Lee, Riddle, Shayna, Candice, Bianca all need to move up to the main roster today. They’re all over 30 and all have gotten long tired in NXT. There’s a slew of actual young people toiling in the performance center and they should be the people supplementing the stars I named at the beginning of this post.

The problem with this is NXT isn't just a training grounds anymore. It's their actual second tier TV brand that makes them money based on their ratings. So they can't just call up all their stars, they need to be able to sustain themselves, before looking to feed talent upstream. What you actually saw was feeding talent DOWNstream to give them help (Finn, Survivor Series).

Remember, Triple H likes the high profile guys to get a decent title run under them before queuing them up for Vince. So Gargano, Ciampa, Shayna should be closest.

The NXT number isnt even bad but they need the demographic to be viable in the future. Its actually more important than the overall number nowadays. Sponsors pull out of deals if their key demo isnt met. Boomers love WWE though. Wonder why? :jbhmm:
They’re the same people who stayed loyal during the steroid trial, nWo and Benoit scandal. Most other boomer wrestling fans dipped after WCW died.

Yep. Vince played himself back then thinking that fans of WCW would just automatically switch over to WWF. The ratings have been steadily declining since that time. He didn’t understand that WCW and WWF fans weren’t overlapping as much as he thought.

yep

its crazy how that's actually the case now with NXT & AEW, as fans of both shows actually do over-lap.

I think early TNA inherited a good amount of WCW viewers.
