What made it so stupid was how so many AEW fans probably fukked with NXT anyway, even if they didn't like WWE as a whole. It was hurting them more than AEW but Vince wanted to "hurt the other guy"

AEW’s 1.2 milly ain’t too far off from that.. they start scratching around that 1.8 or even beating RAW and we having an entirely different conversation.. beating NXT is one thing but AEW works it’s way up into beating flagship shows and Vince starts sweating

So happy about the 1.2M. I got back into the habit of watching wrestling on TV because of AEW. I can't stand main roster WWE and haven't watched at all since 2006 or 7ish.

And then I saw them ruin guys like Punk etc and I lost hope completely on the business. So when I slowly got back into the indies and NJPW seeing AEW start operations was great, add a pandemic and being home more often than not and it gave me something to watch on tv one night a week.

So the 1.2M is great, I didn't predict that at all, I figured 900k would be great personally, sports ratings through out are falling off so to get 900k is already great when it comes with solid demos numbers.

I find it baffling how some hate on the success of a company that's paid off hundreds of people and haven't fired anyone during a pandemic. It gives talent an option to work elsewhere but the muhhhh wwe crowd are loyal to a maga slave and will forever be loyal to him.

If one show has Darby Allin and other has Karrion Kross and Dexter Lumis, then it really isn’t much of a choice. Is NXT even grooming a guy in his 20s to be champ? AEW has 3 guaranteed future champs in their 20s.
