people taking this pandemic era too lightly. Jericho wasn't even supposed to be here at all anymore after losing to Moxley one more time. He did his job correctly in establishing the AEW title and a group of talent in the Inner Circle, and putting Moxley over big time in a long build to taking the title off him.
Jericho was supposed to be on a Fozzy tour, and Moxley was still supposed to be doing a lot of crossbrand promotion work to draw more eyes. All that out the window. AEW spending big money on major stars would be a huge cope since everything was working very well before all this.

everybody in the inner circle was already established. in fact, they were better established before joining the group than they are now, except sammy guevera who is still breaking thru. jericho didnt do chit for any of them. the whole purpose of the group is to make jericho look like a credible champion/face of the company - which he fell short at being.
and he dam sure did NOT establish the AEW title, which didnt even become interesting until jericho was out of the picture.
now theyre about to waste a mike tyson match on jericho.
i'll say this much, jericho is the ultimate finesser. move over chris bey.

Dude really needs to fall back. He was never a draw in his prime and he isn't going to be one now.

AEW really needs to spend big money and sign some major stars from WWE

yea jericho is still in the way.
i turned the channel to NXT when the first thing i saw was his never-has been ass trotting out at the beginning of the show.
they dont need to sign any stars from the WWE. all the WWE stars that are truly worth anything were dipped out of the same talent pool that AEW dips into.
they just gotta utilize their stars properly, which they have been doing lately, imo.
