but yeah this seems like more of a mat-based deal. i don't think riddle wants to try that backflip over the top rope again

I don't think he needs to get bigger, but he's built pretty lankily. So for the sake of 'perception', he'd want to be a bit bigger if he's doing top-spot wrestling. It's just like how Eddie felt like he needed to get bigger - Rey too. The company is about the looks of it, and even he's fully capable of getting someone in the 270 range up for a move, they'd make him do that bullshyt struggling shyt on the main roster because 'size'. Even though we had Pete Dunne get Dain and Priest up for his finish, Vince ain't gonna let Riddle toss around Reigns without putting on some bulk, at least in the shoulder/arms area.
