This fear of AEW is pathetic, they won't release anyone just because they exist and Oney isn't a Vanilla midget. He's very talented but stunted by a generic package. I view him and Drew Galuk more of a wrestler's wrestler. Someone who work will be more appreciated by his peers than the fans he'll probably become a dope trainer.

To be fair galuk showed way more personalty on early episodes of 205 than any point in Oney career. Dude does come off of as vanilla. I mean his main thing/taunt is he raises his arm and paces side to side...

he would fit right in with MLW and all that bloodsport stuff that theyre doing.

he'd also fit in with ROH and theres a place for him in the NWA too.

I don't see him doing anything in AEW unless he takes danny burch with him. that would be another great acquisition to their goat-level tag division.

I always thought he was a weird pick up for WWE because his style didn't really fit in, but he was always a reliable fun stiff sprint when he got used. Style wise he'd have been a better fit for NXT UK but fukk NXT UK. There's a lot of talent that aren't going to make a difference if WWE releases them and there's really no reason to keep them hostage if they want out.
