A sucker born every min. Reddit/Linus tech tips and Toms hardware all flamed me for keeping my 1060 after building my new pc. And yea I’m sure my Ryzen 3800x is overkill for a 1060.
But we all knew new cards were coming this year. I built my new pc in March. If I bought a 2080ti then and then learned about the prices today I would of been sick to my gut.

What the PSU/MBu requirements looking like for the 3080? I got a z390 and an evga 750W psu rn
we dont have any TigerDirects or Microcenter type stores here in South Florida any more, onlt big box stores

I would sign up for slickdeals and put whatever card u want up for notifications to be sent to u. And also signup for Newegg mailing list.
they're saying 750w for the 3080 and 3090. but the 3080 will probably be OK with less than that
the cards support PCI 4.0, but it remains to be seen how much advantage that will give over PCI 3.0. it may be a requirement for their RTX IO

they got a good 5+ months out of it? anyone who would wait 5 months for something, while on lock down, they could use daily? They already got their money worth more than likely
