Thinking of putting ten grand down on raptors -3
58 wins in the regular season +16 in the post season
74 wins
I know the city is starving for a Stanley Cup too but I just don't see this many Maple Leaf squares happening around the city. And definitely not country since those provinces have their own team.
This really is insane
foolishnessFans better be in their seat to start the 3rd tomorrow
North Bay stand up lolmost leaf fans are old white people
Kawhi can't do a supermax? Only the spurs can do that.I don't think Green is coming back. They're already going to be in the tax if they sign Kawhi to a supermax this summer.
Siakam and FVV will be RFA and UFA next summer. They will probably bring back Lowry, Ibaka and Gasol at reduced salaries since they've aged. Then in 2021, they're supposedly going to target Giannis. OG is due for an extension in 2021. Sacrifices will have to be made and I think that's going to be Danny...
The draft and the two-ways are going to be very important in the next few years. They're going to need cheap contributors if they keep the core in tact. They need to hit in the draft and G-League for role players. They can't give up any draft picks at all
North Bay stand up lol
Where you gonna be tomorrow. I think I'm gonna hang back and just stay in the core. Might do a bar near Yonge/King then head over to the fukkery if the Raps win. Will only be a few blocks away anyway.

Also, wouldn't the luxury tax be light work to MLSE?
I think you’re right, I vaguely remember he lost money asking for a trade
MLSE could definitely afford it but i really doubt they’re going to pay more in luxury tax for a swingman who hasn’t performed well this playoffs on the wrong side of 30
I think they do it if Masai requests it. They resigned Meeks and went deeper into the tax just to have an emergency backup for the playoffs.
Anyway, a big part of future success (assuming Kawhi re-signs) is the growth of our drafted players. Considering that everyone has bought in to play beautiful basketball, and have examples in Kawhi and Siakam to lead by example... i could see it.
Wasn't Anunoby a starter before this? Can't tell me he isn't hungry to step up after not being able to contribute these playoffs. Lowry will eventually need to concede the starter spot to FVV, he needs to be ready. Boucher seems to be hungry too and on court it seems that Siakam has a clos(er) relationship to him. He was especially proud of Boucher in the last season game against the Tumber wolves. If we can level up the bench we're in good position.
Lol how can you not like Torontowell both siakam and boucher speak french so that helps. I was reading an article today how lowry loves toronto and his kids are here full time along with his wife who loves it. I really hope lowry finishes his out his career in toronto. I can't tell the last raptor guy who actually retired with the team. I'd love for lowry to retire with the raptors in like 3-4 yars
