I just had to find you my breh. Smh the coli was opened 2012 and the first posts we made was about the raptors :mjcry:

Nobody felt the embarrassment that we felt as raptors fans literally the LAUGHING STOCK of the NBA brick bros etc chokers baby dinosaurs...

Kawhi more than just his actual play his demeanour his silent leadership the way he trusts dudes to make shots and all that lifted all these poor souls.

Ive been trolling REALGM Raptors forum since 2005, great memories, I was even a bargnani stan, that 2007 run even felt magical, thought TJ was the GOAT, Loren woods crossing that dude up, fukk we came a long way

Idk if I leave if I'm klaw. He already got a ring, so teaming up with an older bron just to ring hunt isn't that enticing. The clippers are the clippers. Being number 1 for a whole country gotra be enticing. Only thing i would worry bout if that boy really homesick for LA. But man, he need to stay in the east and just get assurancesnces that raps intend to continue to improve the squad. Klaw with a legit consistent number 2 is a scary sight:picard:

it all comes down to there is no place like home. I hope he stays but if he leaves its his right but he won't have it this good anywhere else.

Close friends (castleberry, powell, green)
Great stable ownership, whole country behind you
alex mchencie,
no one in the media calls you out
Load management
plus made it to the finals, and almost 90 mill is off the books after next season

kawhi is a god here
Honestly social media age has bridged distance, this ain’t like the Carter years where people only saw him play in a handful of national TV games. Kawhi has become infinitely more popular than he was with the Spurs in only one season. Plus the Clippers don’t have a real fan base and he’d be competing for attention with Lebron. The decision may be closer than people think after this run.

I’m a big leafs fan but hahaha leafs haven’t sniffed the finals in over 50 years .

Its now a basketball town
Yep Raps are officially number 1 and it’s not gonna change. Younger kids prefer the Raps. No way you’d see celebrations like tonight if the Leafs made the finals. It’s over for them

I met massi back when he was Bryan colangelo asistance

Dude came along way :wow:
I got a signed 2001 CuJo jersey when Leaf fans were gassing him as the best goalie. I was new to hockey and like well if canadians say he best then he probably the best:yeshrug: To only find out later that Leaf fans were notoriously known to be delusional:dead:
Cujo was a beast when on form tho. Him and Hasek:damn:

I hope you're not serious. It might get close to this if the Leafs win a round. And I don't even say that as a good thing.

The whole Jurassic park thing started in 2013 when the Leafs did it after making the playoffs.

This was for round 1 game 3 in 2013 :mjlol:

This city is starved for success in a major sport and is big enough to support multiple major teams. No reason for a competition. Both teams have been turned from jokes into top organizations so there's only going to be more of this to come. :blessed:

Toronto’s demographics, especially by age will make what I said inevitable. Basketball is the most popular sport among immigrants and their children and youth participation in hockey is not on an encouraging trajectory. This is even more the case in terms of demographics.

Hockey will remain the most popular sport in Canada as a whole, but in Toronto in particular the Leafs are in a serious battle with the Raptors in the near future and they know it it too:
Leiwenke said it in 2014, and without having the ability to add in a Finals appearance and possibly retaining the best player in the league. You can’t claim bias here because he was a chairman for both teams :manny:

Toronto Raptors more popular than Maple Leafs? Not as far-fetched as it sounds | The Star
