being part of a financially stronger league is why but the leafs still charge more for tickets, corporate suites and merchandise. the bucks are worth roughly the same amount as the leafs. leafs also have a stronger fan base through out canada even thought the raptors are the only nba team in canada. oh and it was the raptors that got the acc/scotia bank arena of the ground. the leafs at first wanted to build their own arena at union station
Naw. All the major Provinces have their own teams. They may support because it's hockey but I wouldn't call them a fan base.
But the Raps are 2nd to the Leafs, with the gap coming closer.
