This is the most surreal moment of my life tonight if they win. I don’t think anyone understands how ridiculous this is. No fan base in the league went through a more disappointing and painful last 15 years.

Not one. Either your team was horrible for the whole stretch and you couldn’t expect anything, or they competed for a couple years and rebuilt. The Raptors were the worst team in the NBA, then rebuilt unsuccessfully, then had playoff failure, then another unsuccessful rebuild which lead to a failed blow up of the team. That lead to the Brooklyn series in 2014 where we should have been tanking, instead lost to Brooklyn in a heart breaker.
Then, get swept by Washington, a rival team, while being the favourites and having Lou Williams in the bench. Then take 2 games from the eventual champs Cleveland where Lebron clearly said in game 5 he felt no pressure from the raptors. They won the next 2 games by a combined 64.
Then the next year swept by Cleveland with Lowry missing games but that would have made no difference, as again we got swept by Cleveland in 2018 with Lebron humiliating us. 4 straight seasons of humiliation and expectation. The literal laughing stock of the NBA. Not even Kings fans have experienced this shyt.
It all ends at 8:30pm tonight
nope

Yep that's exactly where it was. People were apparently lining up since noon, and his speech/Q&A session started at 7 pm
Wouldn't be surprised if they brought him back for the minimum, he's still a draw here even though he's Quincy Douby with a Harvard degree at this point
I remember those days.
They gave free tickets to my school and we sat in that same section as picture, but a few more seats to the right. Even at that young age, I knew this made no sense.
Raps then got the ok to develop the ACC and MLSE bought them to get access to the arena.
