My problem with the democrats are that they don't give a fukk about black men.

They don't even care to directly address us, one reason being is because.... in my opinion... they believe us to be the real boogeyman.. a sort of necessary evil to get what they want

So it makes me not want to vote.

In all honesty, it seems bleak from both sides, but voting democratic may be better than voting Trump.

I hate this reality we're forced to deal with but I don't know what else there is to do, Trump gives no fukks about anyone but white nationalism.

My life is significantly better now than it was 4 years ago. No, most of it has nothing to do with Biden, but there were absolutely some things I have taken advantage of under his administration. My girl might get her loans forgiven (and she is black, of course.) 6-figure loans are down 40+k and has a great chance to be in the 20k range when its all said and done if it isn't outright forgiven. I know a few folks with diabetes. Take a wild guess how they feel about insulin prices since Biden came in

So whether I vote or not, the question is always "am I better off now than I was?" I can break down a ton of things that may have mostly been due to local policy changes or just things I did in my own life, but there are broader improvements that actually matter. The most profound single thing a President did in my lifetime was Obama. When he dropped ACA, I suddenly had my mother's healthcare plan for 4 more years. That shyt actually mattered. A sister of mine still benefits from it. That shyt matters. Biden has some things that came from the top that has tangibly helped my family and some friends just the same. No, its not swept us to the path to prosperity, but when pushed, some things come to mind for sure. Even Trump, the standard deduction helped some of my family since we were not itemizers when it comes to tax, but I also know people it screwed due to former tax benefits no longer existing. For me it was almost a net-gain.

People have to learn to pivot. Strategies have to be dynamic otherwise you'll set yourself so far behind that you'll spend an inordinate amount of time getting back to where you once were.

Trump having more federal judge picks and possible supreme court picks is a serious problem. He is going scorched earth if re-elected and those white nationalists are chomping at the bit for him to win the election too.
