Now that kobe established his top tier pg skills, how much longer can he dominate?

Ya'll do realize that in order to get assists, kats have to make shots. And to that point, if the goal is to win and I'm passing early and dudes aren't hitting shots, why would he keep passing?

Case and point, the game against the Pacers earlier this year. The rest of the team went 3 for 41, we were in a position to steal that game. And it was because Kobe started looking exclusively for HIS offense. If he continues to try to pass and they keep missing, we lose by 10+ every night.

Simply, Kobe is getting these asst numbers because they are actually making shots.

I swear to god these nikkas are acting as if Kobe has a bunch of wingmen and pf that can hit consistent jumpshots and average 3%. It's like I'm the only one watching the games. If Pau makes half of the free looks he's been getting this season and the bench actually knock down the shots they're suppose to make, looking would be sitting pretty right now.

how has kobe been able to maintain this 45 fg% after taking, and i quote Jeff Van Gundy "kobe takes 5-6 unmakeable shots per game"

none of you funny looking kobe haters ever answer that question for me

and i apologize to @Malta for that dwight shyt. dude is :snoop:

alonzo without question would be able to adapt his game ten times better than dwight has

Imagine how great of a player Kobe would've been had he figured this out 5-10 years ago. He could've had a few more titles for sure.

He's always had great teammates and always surrounded by talent. The problem is he's been too selfish and difficult to play with.

:comeon: he's a career 5 apg guy and has led the Lakers in assists since he became a starter in 2000.

remember he's a SG not a point guard and the triangle offense was always an offense that was about ball movement and didn't really facilitate alot of assists for any one play....hence the reason only one player has ever averaged over 7 APG while playing for Phil Jackson

Kobe is a SHOOTING GUARD. His job is to score. He never took more shots than Jordan. So if you are gonna say that Kobe cost himself a couple of titles by not passing the ball enough then you should be saying the same about MJ.
