Maybe, but not necessarily need. Harris will be expiring and Adams used to play with Durant. Ayton is toxic in Phoenix and CP3 is old. Jones is underrated and if it doesnt work they can blow it all up after the season with cap space and new ownership in a great location
I think that would be around 49m of cap relief whereas Ayton and cp3 would be under contract
Only thing is the rookie extension limit that may void Ayton and Morant being on the same team. I keep forgetting the exact terms of that rule
Also PHX isnt giving up the best or second best player in the trade.

closer to $30 than $20 even though his numbers were deceptive. He was damn near useless last season.
