Murray played over his head in The Bubble and last year's playoffs. What we've seen this year is more along the lines of who he really is.
Denver needs another guy who can do something off the dribble and I don't know how they get him. They could be in danger of losing KCP this summer too. Their cap situation is a mess.
What's he's done has been extraordinary though and I can't think of anybody else like him before. He's never been close to being an All-Star but played like an All-NBA player twice in the postseason.
When teams go on runs or win a title, usually one or two guys plays over their heads and everything breaks their way. This to me is more along the lines of what I'd expect from Murray long-term.
