@Copy Ninja this guy is not better than Verlander.
Tigers should have never let Verlander go.

Braves trash, Arizona gets stomped, Phils and Houston for World Series...4-2 Astros...
The crazy thing as well is the guys on the other team still have to hit the ball. I'd love to be able to see the all time ERA of position players that have gone in to pitch and I'd bet it's lower than Kershaw's post season ERA. I don't understand it. There needs to be a deep dive on this shyt.So I would vehemently argue that there's no such thing as clutch in professional sports.
With enough sample size, every athlete tends to perform in the postseason at a similar level to their regular season statistics.
And this would apply the other way too. I don't believe in someone choking in the postseason either. More sample size, they'll perform better. Think: Barry Bonds in the early 2000s, and Alex Rodriguez in 2009.
That said...
I'm really at a loss here when it comes to the postseason performance of Clayton Kershaw.
I mean holy fukk, dude. I don't know how to defend this fukking guy.

They conceded the first game and they won it anyway. Then Matt Olson want to get indignant and say it's a five game series.Didn’t know there’s an off day between games 1 & 2.The bullpen day for philly makes sense now.
We sent 3 players to them on that waiver deadline trade 6 years ago and only 1 made the mlb roster as a 3rd string backupTigers should have never let Verlander go.
this you?![]()
