How has samsung been with software updates as of late?

But getting the next version of Android is still hit or miss?

I lowkey haven't cared about the updates since they seem minimal nowadays. To me it doesnt matter. If anything, there are so many themes to choose from on the app store and samsungs own theme store to make it refreshing and whatnot

I held on to my S7 edge until it died.


Finally upgraded to this.

The standby time on this phone is unparalleled. The problem is when using it the battery drains pretty quickly. With heavier use the phone barely makes it a day unless you make compromises like turning down the brightness, turning off the Always On Display and all that jazz to maintain better battery life.

On a moderate day I usually come home with 60-50% battery life left. On heavier days I've gotten to the single digits.

That's what I'm thinking. Hopefully the 10 will have it, and come with some more major improvements over the 8.

The s10 wont have 5g. They already said so

I think Sammy finally fixed these damn stereo speakers constantly going off balance on the latest system update. I haven't heard it happen in some days.

I switched back to my iPhone X on Jan 22. Unfortunately I'll never switch back to my Note 9 again as I sold it for around $800 and I'll be boxing it up and shipping it out tomorrow in the AM.

I figured I'd better just dump this now so I can have some more funds to get that Galaxy S10+ that's getting announced next week. Dumping it before the announcement was the better move.
