Been using the phone all day, don't see any phone topping it this year
It's that time of the year now that the defending champ has a new phone out..so here is some Vs vids against the P20 Pro

I just got settled into this Note9 and its noticeably larger and thicker than the Note8 was. It's kinda messing with me. I guess I'll get used to it.
Also all my carrier extras like volte and wifi calling work just fine on the unlocked phone.

I'll have to watch this. I'm pretty meh about this phone coming from the Note8. The battery life is better but its not drastically better to me. By the end of the day I needed to charge my Note8 and the same is true of the Note9. The real difference makers to me are the 512GBs of internal storage and 8GBs of RAM. I put the 256GB SD card in there so I have more storage than I'll ever need on this phone. The 128GB version of this phone isn't even worth bothering with. I'd say the Note8 is the better purchase if you can get one for $700 or less new.
I'm not gonna say this isn't the best phone I've ever owned because it is. The problem is we're well into diminishing returns. If the Note8 is a 9.4 out of 10 then the Note9 is a 9.6 out of 10 and that's the big boy model not the base model.
I went from a note 7 to iphone x to note 9 and man this is probably my favorite phone "of all time" (previously being the s7 edge)
How has samsung been with software updates as of late?
They keeping up with the security patches..I just updated the s9 and note 8 last week.
