I listen to Cole and Lupe for totally different reasons. They have their own lanes and sounds. Both dropped quality albums.

J Cole is garbage... I cringe whenever I hear that single he has out on the radio... but I can tell T&Y is going to be this year's "Yeezus". I.e. a bad album that will be protected from criticism by faux intellectuals who claim "if you dont like it its because u arent smart enough to comprehend it".

There is such a thing as being too conceptual or cryptic, just like it's possible to be too obvious or direct (like J Cole's cringeworthy raps). In my opinion Lu is at his best when he is just straight spitting. That Enemy Of The State tape he did is probably his best piece of work to me.

This is nonsense. Tetsuo and Youth is far from a "Bad" album. GTFOH.
