Norwegians or the swiss i believe also had a program where they housed drug addicts in facilities and let them safely get raised out of their mind. I believe it was for heroin. The logic is that it would take away the desire to do it from the public by making it accessible and give the people somewhere to do their filth without harming friends, or themselves.

I know they do this in the Netherlands, like they basically got a clinic for people to get dope and shoot up in a safe place outside of the street. I think that's actually a great way to deal with the issue especially if they have equal access to rehab, certain places with these progressive laws in Europe don't got the rate of hard drug use and crime that we do. Addicts are sick people, not criminals. Take the power out of the dealers hands and you weaken the drug market.
