in my opinion the only way to solve this is to force china to deal with it and the only way to do so is to hit them in the pocket book.
government subsidized american manufacturing so that the U.S. can compete price wise.
reduce the trade gap with china slowly but surely until they start to feel it and are forced to take action with NK.
when and if china does take action, america will be stronger economically and the NK problem will hopefully be resolved.
if china does not step up then the US just keeps subsidizing US manufacturing and slowly but surely squeezes china.
couple these actions with a mass media push to buy american and tell the people why and how we are doing what we are doing.
in a matter of five years it will move the needle.
