This thread is interesting to me. I don't really like A/C. I even sleep in 85+ degree weather. However, if someone else was with me, I'd make sure they are comfortable. The A/C can be on and I'd just wear a sweater if I feel to cold.

I used to have similar issues with my ex and she lived with me in the war over temp. But after I got that and it’s like it learned us. That thing found a happen medium to keeps us both comfortable.

Plus it’s a smart object. I never have to go to it to adjust as I can literally raise and lower the temp via my iPhone or iPad and that works great at night since my thermostat is downstairs

This is what I'm saying. The A/C on 78 in this house is ice cold. Our air works VERY well. She keeps it on 75 at night and it feels like fukking Siberia. I be hearing the air rushing through the vent sounding like a winter storm.

Their room stays unusually cold throughout the year as it's in the back of the house. I always check their room before bed and it's always really cool. With the air on throughout the night, I always hear my oldest son in there sneezing. Idk why he does that. He doesn't get sick but it's still odd.

Lol you worried about the bill but y’all turning the air on and off all night, every other 2 hours.

You should spring for a decent mattress with temperature controls for each side and keep the air at a reasonable temp (72-75 to me). Turning it off completely is absurd.
