Nobody is defending Diddler but this is why some people are cautious about the charges

I’m no fan of Diddy and I think he should be prosecuted for actual crimes that he committed like beating up Cassie, but the trafficking and Racketeering charges seem trumped up.

Diddy flying out deviants to engage in orgies is considered trafficking, but porn companies flying out pornstars to do the same on camera is not considered trafficking?

Justice be damned. Just satisfy the online lynch mob
Mentioning baby oil and IV’s was the tell. They’re rail roading dude on specious allegations and not the actual violations he did.

That gun charge? Fair

Shaming him for group sex? WTF?

Getting flown out could technically be sex trafficking?

Or is there a more official definition? I always thought sex trafficking was essentially running an interstate prostitution ring.
Flying out groupies and paying for their plane tickets seems different, but then again i heard diddy was forcing them to fukk other people, when basically makes it a prostitution ring at that point. that might be the distinction.

Sex trafficking is human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation. It has been called a form of modern slavery because of the way victims are forced into sexual acts non-consensually, in a form of sexual slavery.[1] Perpetrators of the crime are called sex traffickers or pimps—people who manipulate victims to engage in various forms of commercial sex with paying customers. Sex traffickers use force, fraud, and coercion as they recruit, transport, and provide their victims as prostitutes.[2] Sometimes victims are brought into a situation of dependency on their trafficker(s), financially or emotionally.[3] Every aspect of sex trafficking is considered a crime, from acquisition to transportation and exploitation of victims.[1] This includes any sexual exploitation of adults or minors, including child sex tourism (CST) and domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST).[3]

Flying a woman from one state to another and paying her for sex is prostitution, forcing/coercing her to do sex acts with you or others against her will is sex trafficking.

some of the charges said "forced into sex" which could also be borderline rape

If you're a noteworthy rapper or label person you already knew Diddy was abusing women for years. Multiple people have seen him falcon punch Cassie and other girls at events, dinner parties, etc. I'm not going to say everyone who partied with Diddy saw this, saw the drugged sex workers, etc. But if you were regularly partying with Diddy, spending the night, etc? You're probably guilty of something.

Pretty simple. No need to defend this or act like its witchhunt or a slippery slope. Being freaky is still ok and legal. Being predatory and forcing others to join against their will is not. Its sad and telling that people struggle to see the very clear difference.

The real problem is predators have done am amazing job at controlling the narrative and the optics and conflating their sick shyt with fun and consensual debauchery. They have sold this dream of reaching a certain status and women just throwing themselves at you and doing what you want just because you are that guy. Guys aspire to be this and live vicariously through these dudes not knowing that the majority of the time, at best its prostitution and at worst its coercion or just plain assault.
