Such an underrated Kobe playoff game

Screenshot-2024-03-15-at-7-01-14-PM.png

He literally stopped the Spurs from repeating on two different occasions yet he never denied anyone :mjlol:

Did you just hype up nearly 37yo Bruce Bowen and 38yo Robert Horry, who averaged 0.4ppg on 00% shooting that series and retired before it was over? :laff:

Barry, Bowen, Finley, Thomas, and Horry were a combined 180 years old in that series....they AVERAGED 36yo lol.

2007 Spurs were a 3-man core surrounded by old role players. In 2008, their leading scorer was Manu who severely sprained his ankle and was borderline useless before the Lakers series even started, and the rest of the squad aged out. Duncan/Parker were literally a two-man team with old and hurt guys trying to defend and failing, and Duncan was 32 at that point and wasn't the sort of player who could carry them by himself anymore. Once Manu got hurt, they weren't winning a title whether the Lakers beat them or not. Celtics would have wasted them.

The fact that y'all have to pump up shytty-ass "accomplishments" like that shows how much you flail when it comes to actually remembering significant moments in his career.

The eastern conference been a joke for more than a decade even before LeBron came to.

2004 Pistons
2006 Heat
2008 Celtics
2012 Heat
2013 Heat
2016 Cavs

Eastern teams won 6 out of 13 titles in Bron's first 13 years. And if not for bad luck they easily could have won '05, '10, and '15 too. Some "joke".

This man Kobe was beating Duncan and Spurs… Prime Carmelo Billups Martin in Denver Tmac Yao Metta World Peace beat Celtics team by himself who made LeBron run to Miami Prime Nash and Suns I mean I can go on.

:laff:

This is a poster who doesn't know shyt about basketball. @10bandz and @fifth column dapped that shyt, did you know he was clueless or are you just that ignorant too?

Kobe never once beat T-Mac in a series.

Kobe never once beat Yao in a series, Yao got knocked out in the 3rd game of the series and it still went 7.

Kobe never once beat "prime Nash" in a series, Kobe lost to Nash in both 2006 and 2007, didn't beat him until 2010 when Nash was THIRTY-SIX years old lol.

Said he "beat Celtics by himself" when he was down 3-2 even with Ray hurt, til Perkins got knocked out too, and STILL went 6-24 in Game 7 and had to have his teammates save him.

And bragging about beating Carmelo in '09, even though Carmelo didn't win a single playoff series in any other year 2004-2012. :dead:

That was the worst fukking list of opponents I've seen. You had to LIE about half the players on the list and the other half were lame as fukk.

Who did LeBron ever beat

Bron beat:

The Billups-Rip-Sheed-Prince-Webber Pistons
The Garnett-Pierce-Ray-Rondo Celtics
The Rose-Deng-Noah Bulls
The Durant-Westbrook-Harden-Ibaka Thunder
The Duncan-Parker-Ginobli-Kawhi Spurs
The Curry-Klay-Draymond-Iggy Warriors
The Jokic-Murray-MPJ-Grant Nuggets

Not only were those all led by superstar players, every one of those superstars except Rose won a title. They were REAL contenders, not no Carmelo/Nash posers lol.

I don't even have to mention multiple tough Pacers squads, the Butler-Rose-Noah-Pau Bulls, a 60-win Hawks squad, the 60-win Raptors squads, the young Tatum-Brown-Horford-Smart Celtics, the Harden-Westbrook-Gordon Rockets or the Dame-CJ-Anthony-Nurkic Blazers.....even though those were better than the fukking Aaron Brooks/Metta World Peace Rockets team you tried to sneak in to your list.

fukking a, even Tier 2 of Lebron's career body count looks better than Kobe's Tier 1 as a #1. :russ:

this whole NBA "fear" shyt has become so corny :coffee:
Pretty much.

But I do think there were more “feared” scorers in this league than Bron.

It’s crazy to hear how 80s cats feared Bernard King. He ain’t win shyt but you still hear the fear players carried into games facing him. Bron doesn’t strike one in that manner

Speaking of who Lebron beat, let’s take a closer look:whoo:

He beat KD in 2012, KD beat him in 2017 & 2018
He beat Duncan in 2013, Timmy destroyed him in revenge in 2014
He beat Steph in 2016, Steph bussed that ass in 2017 & 2018

Pretty much every star that Lebron beat turnaround and whooped him right back.

He went to the Lakers cause he knew AD was coming through Klutch and thought Kwahi was coming, why are you so disingenuous breh.

Bullshyt, he wanted to move to LA long before that.

That's June 2017 breh and the Bron to Los Angeles shyt was already grinding. At that point Kawhi was still happily starring in San Antonio and wouldn't even leave for Toronto until more than a year later. Anthony Davis didn't sign with Klutch until September 2018.

NONE of those articles mention AD or Kawhi, nor do any other articles from that period about Lebron's move. He chose to go LA for family and business reasons long before AD or Kawhi were even in the picture, at best they thought maybe he could get Paul George (who he could have gotten in Cleveland too, if he had wanted to stay).

The info about Bron and especially his family wanting to live in LA goes all the way back to 2014. He bought their house there in 2015 and signed the huge Warner Brothers contract that same year.

Lying is like water for y'all. Let's hear how Kobe beat T-Mac and Yao in the playoffs again. :laff:

I listed 14 squads, you only came up with 3 in response and 2 of those 3 had to join forces to beat Lebron. :russ:

When KD/Steph weren't teamed up together, Durant + an elite squad is still 0-1 against Bron (and like 6-23 in the regular season) and Curry-Klay-Dray are 1-3.

When did Arenas, Kidd, Carter, Billups, Rip, Sheed, Rose, Butler, Westbrook, Harden, Carmelo, Amare, PG13, Tatum, Brown, Dame, and Ja get their revenge on Bron?

Y'all keep getting caught lying over and over, and your only defense is to lie more. :dead:

That's it, I'm unfollowing the thread. Between the kobestan who flipped out spamming comment after comment of irrelevant links a page back and the two haters who literally just got caught lying three times in a row, y'all are in shambles and everyone can see it.

I’m talking about winning chips, idgaf about the minor stuff. Other than the bubblegum chip Lebron has allowed the same stars that he beat to take revenge on him. You are distracted.

I can’t believe you brought up teaming up as a Bron sycophant

Sports always invents these type of empty terms like fear. What the fukk is that?

Afraid that a man will drop a lot of buckets on you? Then a reasonable man should be afraid of anyone dropping a lot of buckets. :dahell:

30 points from Shaq or Giannis, Jordan or Lebron or Harden is the exact same 30 points. It’s not boxing or like a hard hitting NFL pass rusher
