Fascinating. I understand the concerns about the unvaccinated, but people are willing to let 30% of the population die or at the very least starve to save the one or two percent that may be taken by Covid. Not that the one or two percent isn't important either, but I find it amazing that we think shutting out the unvaccinated is going to work for our society.

Even that number is way too high when you factor in the additional risk of a vaccinated person getting infected because some group of people was not vaccinated. Chomsky in his old age should let himself get educated by actual experts and scientists who are still thinking and working at this:
Do you think Moscow is killing or starving its unvaxxed senior (60+) citizens?
Or saving them from a neurotropic virus, that is also leaving long term consequences on different vital organs.
They just introduced this for a four months period.

You should read the buzzfeed article before mocking it because it's very good. If you're going to post someone who's been criticized by his peers for his COVID 19 work then don't get asshurt when you get called out for it. You might not care about mass death but some of us do.

Where did I say that? C'mon G, stick to what I actually said. I just said this line of thinking is not it at all. Cases are going down, deaths are going down and vaxx rates are up. But now we want to start excluding people? Make it make sense. Are we trying to solve for vaccination or for COVID?
