Being from Philly it's like Allen leaving to go to Denver destroyed the whole culture of our city....

I mean, he literally affected Philly on every level from sports to nightlife. It really hasn't been the same since he got traded. Fridays on Cityline Avenue was CRAZY. Olde City was popping because of him.

I'm only 27 so I was in middle and high school when AI was running wild on the scene so I missed most of the crazy moments, tho I did catch the tail end of things in 2004-2006 during my college years. No you don't only gunners at the rec league do. He played with lesser talent but had to because he couldn't coexist with other types of players IMO. Iverson did his thing no doubt but I always wonder what dudes like him would be able to do if they could reign in some of the madness for a more team concept. I'm switching sports but imagine a Mike Vick in his prime with Peyton Mannings mind. Dude would be lethal and that's how I feel about Iverson and dudes like him.
